The Calendar That Could Tear Itself

This calendar, made by STIHL, is a new household innovation. It's nice that finally 'something' helps you to tear the paper off the calendar automatically as the day has changed. But, it seems that it's recommended that a trash bin should be positioned below it as the paper would just thrown away to the floor when torn apart. Check the video!

ARRGGHH!!! WHAT A WASTE!!!

The video below shows a guy, which was from the website DigitalRev (never heard of it), tried to beat a useless, non-sense challenge of repainting the nicely-designed and made in black colour, Nikon D90 DSLR, into pink. The challenge was a ruined one as the D90 seemed to ended up becoming a magenta colored DSLR brick. Then they contacted Nikon Support Center, telling some lies to cover up the problem. This was truly a waste as the Nikon D90 was a gooood DSLR, only a bit old. Just watch the video! (I'm really feeling bad with this, especially the D90)

Seen the video? Is there's a lot mistakes in the repainting job. Well, I found some, and here's ways to avoid it:

  1. Never wear thick gloves or anything in your hand when handling or repairing fragile things.
  2. Never do something that needs concentration on desk which has things on top of it (That Apple desktop in the video including the keyboard was in a high risk of damage, it's Apple man!)
  3. Never 'force' open things without knowledge or experience of repairing current device.
  4. Never break any useful things, except there are two of it (almost all things are useful for the future (becoming antique and vintage things))
  5. Never do custom painting on devices except all fragile electronic parts are being dissected.
  6. Drawing sketch of the device first for the screw seems to be a waste of time as all screws looked the same kind (but beware if the screw was different, even a millimeter in length, could cause some fatal cracks on screw-holes if forced to screw in)
  7. Never use "fancy" tapes as they tend to have bad quality adhesive material (it sticks, but it doesn't completely removed if the plastic was removed)
  8. Never repair or force open things when you've no responsibility for it.
  9. Never repair yourself or force open things if the current device was expensive for yourself
  10. If you find it, comment below!

Well, it's almost ten faults done by this UK English-speaking asian guy while repainting this wasted D90. So, NEVER TRY THIS AT ANY DEVICES!!! (except for some reasons)

Alienware M11x Total Strip Down!!!

Well, the gaming netbook (as it lacks optical drive) that's priced over $799 and only has 11.6-inch display, was stripped down by a chinese website, showing images of its internal component that's seen relatively simple. Want to see the specs, see it's website. Want to see the strip down process see the below link:

Samsung's Super AMOLED Compared (Video)

What's AMOLED? What's TFT LCD? What's Super AMOLED? Well, I've already given the links if you need the informations. This video doesn't have sound on it (boring...). But it clearly explains you what's the advantages of Samsung's Super AMOLED. Check this out!

(Thanks for Tom's Hardware for the video and Samsung for the explanation)

This HP Slate Rocks!

Do you know about HP Slate? It's HP's product to compete against it's Apple counterpart, the iPad. Then, what's iPad? (it's a 'pricey' thing) See it yourself on the given Wikipedia link and see it's reception. But the video below advertised about HP Slate's great features. It surprisingly runs Windows 7 (hope it fits on the low computing resource environment). It doesn't have a keyboard or even a keypad, as it's replaced by the large 8.9-inch touchscreen display. It also supports Flash, while handheld devices are rarely getting Flash support. Price, screen resolution, and USB ports are still unknown. But check the video below out how fantastic the HP Slate is!

(thanks for Tom's Hardware for the news)

The Art of Macro Photography...Nice....

See the photo above, nice isn't it. Well, that's what I called "The Art of Photography". Some might think that art of it came from the background of the image, some says that the art came from the failure of photography (long exposure, blur, bokehs, etc). But for me the art came from the clarity, the extra-sharpness, the contrast, the reality and the color of the image. It depends on situation around the object you're going to capture, it also depends on what camera you're using (I know, but it's still useless if you're using VGA camera).

Well, I've to stop now (I've written 3 paragraphs and it's now lost!!!) Bye! (speechless!@##$)

The Battle of The Browsers!!! Yeah, Finally!!!

After a lot of long controversies, finally a legendary and (quite?) trusted website, Tom's Hardware made a breakthrough in its benchmark history. It made a benchmark that could revolutionize a little in true, real life, web browsing performance of the, Web Browsers.

So long that web browser users fight about their browsers performance, from the newly and improved design, IE8 (we have to exclude IE6 for some reasons), to the least known and my favorite, Opera. Some argue and believed that Mozilla Firefox is the fastest. Those believers was tricked by those liars!!! (Remember, never trust easily to people's recommendations, even he's your boss or parent maybe, research it first!!!). Some said that Chrome is the fastest one. Although I resist and chosen Opera, it's proved, Google chrome IS the fastest one on earth.

But always remember research it first. Web browsers doesn't depend on web speed only. It aslo depends on its productivity, which wasn't tested in the benchmarks (I still doubt Google Chrome). Oh! Almost forgotten, Safari also claims the fastest, really? Recheck the benchmark.

For benchmarks form Tom's Hardware, click the below link!

The Death of IE6, Finally

As the age of IE6 was getting older and less user are using it right now, the web designer, Aten Design, set up a real funeral (some sorrow might be excluded) for the death of IE6, dated March 1, 2010. There's even a website contributed for the funeral, ie6funeral.com. Even Microsoft also sent a flower, with card written:

"Thanks for the good times, IE6. See you all @ MIX, where we'll show a little piece of IE heaven. Internet Explorer Team at Microsoft"

Look What Internet Has Done To A Baby Till She Died!

How? How the internet, which was only a connection to the world and sits on the PC, could cause the death of a baby? Well, internet has caught her parent's attention of playing an online virtual world in an internet cafe for 12 hours. This happened in Korea, and both parents are known as Kim. They left their baby in hunger, for 12 hours, only for the online simulation game called as PRIUS.

Before the death of the 3 months old baby, they fed her with a rotten milk and mad at her when she cried. Both parent are jobless, spent most of their time at internet cafe, even if the wife was pregnant. They both lived with wife's parent. For more information click the below link.

(thanks for Tom's Hardware for the terrible news and hoped the baby's spirit is in peace)
