Something Went Terribly Wrong With This Nexus One

And while HTC (although Google was selling this phone, the actual maker was actually a smartphone manufacturer, called HTC that's based in Taiwan) was still investigating the cause of the problem which the phone was totally bruised in the AMOLED screen and cracked in the screen cover, there are many speculation speculated that the phone wasn't fit in our pockets, which was usually filled with wallet, keys, and maybe a Swiss Knife. Although the testing of the phone (there's a video which illustrate how's this phone was tested in human environment, I've it here) was conducted professionally, there's still unknown reason for the phone's cracked and bruised screen.

The owner of the phone, CNET Crave, described that before the phone was founded to be totally bruised and cracked, they're charging it on the table and then they went for lunch. The first speculation was that a dog jumped over the phone and made it broken. But the evidence was known to be not enough for a such damage. How could it be, charging a phone could cracked the screen cover and bruised the new AMOLED screen? Just wait the answer... Anyway, just to note that the cost of repairing the damage was about £180 ($270, huge!), including parts, labor, shipping and VAT.

Joke: Hitler Went Mad When His PS3 Was Bogged Down (Video)

Watch this funny faked video scene that's taken from the movie Downfall (German: Der Untergang) that illustrate how mad some of PS3 users that their console was bogged down and corrupted when using the PSN (PlayStation Network) which was also bogged down. Problems were said to be caused by internal clock failure in the PS3 that's made by ARM (the company which makes some of Nokia's phone processor, relax it's not going to happen to any of the phone). Anyway, enjoy the video!

(Thanks for YouTube to feature the video at the front page, and also the guy who's making this clip)

AMD 890GX Motherboards Were Out, Looks Interesting

The motherboards of the latest design from AMD that combined the power of ATI Radeon Graphic with their chipsets were out. The chipset was coded 890GX, while the i integrated graphic was A ATI Radeon HD 4290, which clocked to a hefty amount of 700 MHz. This is truly quite an engineering marvel as nowadays Intel chipsets' so-called 'Graphic Media Accelerator' can't beat a 3 years old graphic card, even the X4500 series (for the truth, check GPU 1:1 Chart at Tom's Hardware). So, are you interested with this? If so, check the reviewers reports:

The City That Changed Name To 'Google' in Kansas, unofficially though

What city that dares to change their own name? Well, it depends on their reasons to change it. But, in March 1 2010, the city Topeka, Kansas, changed their name 'unofficially' to Google, Kansas. The reason was quite weird, as the mayor only wanted a high-speed Internet system in the city, supplied by Google. More details? Hit the link below!

It's 'PSP' And Also 'Phone', From China

What else that China couldn't fake? Of course, it's money! Only?
Well, it seems that almost everything could be copied by the Chinese. This handheld device for example was a copy of Sony PSP. It seems to be smaller, but as it's China's copy, it has some additional feature to call and send messages as a phone. Unique, smart and clever, right?

A Short NVIDIA Story Based on its GPU Dies

The link below linked us to a small slideshow showing us NVIDIA GPU dies that are sorted by their announcement date. NVIDIA is a company that's already dominating the graphic processing unit world thirteen years ago, from the ancient and legendary 'TNT' to the newly-designed, complex (and delayed) GeForce 400 Series, codenamed "Fermi". Just scroll through the pages and images of the dies and notice the amount of memory changed form as little as 16MB to marvelous 1GB of graphic memory! What a change...
